Dichromena colorata (star grass) bare root

White star-shaped flowers sit above the grass-like foliage on this plant. Star Grass is best used in large numbers to create a field of white flowers around the edges of the water feature. Will flower all throughout the summer, grows up two feet tall, and needs partial to full sun. It thrives in wet fields, on stream banks, and on the edges of marshes and is also tolerant of sands, peats, and silts. It is able to grow in soils with a variable pH (4.6-7.8); making it ideal for otherwise unsuitable or changing growing conditions.
